Please Note: 50 minute appointment times are per session.
Please book your first appointment, then book any subsequent appointments after payment has been received and confirmed.

Payment is expected at the time of booking by eTransfer.  If funds are not received within 2 calendar days of the booking date, the reserved session dates will be voided.  Reservation and scheduling of all session times will be completed at the time of the initial booking.

There will be no refunds for cancelled sessions but sessions can be re-scheduled within 1 month of the cancelled session, subject to availability.  Re-booking a time can happen up to 48 hours before the appointment and is subject to availability.  Any session no shows will not be re-scheduled. 

If a mentee wants to terminate the mentorship relationship up to and/or including the 4th session, the completed sessions will be billed at the hourly rate of $90/hour.  The remaining package fee will be returned.  If 4 sessions of the package have been completed, there will be no refund for service termination.

A receipt will be issued for services when Session(s) are completed.

The professional mentorship services provided through this program are intended to offer guidance and support based on the mentor’s professional experiences and expertise. These services do not constitute formal professional advice. Both mentor and mentee should acknowledge the following:

  1. No Guarantees: The mentor does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from the guidance provided. Success and progress depend on the mentee’s own efforts, actions, and decisions.
  2. Non-Liability: The mentor shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the mentee’s use of or reliance on the mentorship guidance. The mentee agrees to hold the mentor harmless from any claims or liabilities resulting from the mentorship relationship.
  3. Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information and discussions that occur during the mentorship, except where disclosure is required by law.
  4. Participation: Participation in the mentorship program is voluntary; the mentee may choose to terminate the relationship at any time without any repercussions. Please refer to the refund statement for further details about the refund policy.
  5. Professional Boundaries: The mentorship services provided are distinct from formal therapeutic, legal, financial, or other professional advisory services. The mentor is not acting in the capacity of an experienced clinician in all areas of Occupational Therapy practice unless explicitly stated and agreed upon in writing.
  6. Respect and Conduct: Both parties agree to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally throughout the duration of the mentorship relationship.
  7. Use of Advice: The mentee understands that the advice and guidance provided are based on the mentor’s personal and professional experience and should not be considered a substitute for the mentee’s clinical reasoning having first hand knowledge of a clinical situation.

By engaging in this professional mentorship relationship, both the mentor and mentee acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this disclaimer.
